Rookie Rugby is program sponsored by USA rugby that is designed to teach young boys and girls the basics of rugby. Rookie rugby is minimal-contact flag program that is safe for all players. The game uses simple rules so boys and girls of all skill levels and physical abilities can experience and enjoy rugby.

The Rookie Rugby program emphasizes continuous play, healther and wellness, and teaches respect for the player and others.
