The Massachusetts Youth Rugby Organization, Inc. (MYRO) is a non-profit charitable organization formed in 2010 to promote physical fitness, teamwork and leadership skills through the game of rugby. MYRO is a part of USA Rugby and supports all levels of youth rugby from elementary through high school ages.

Giving Tuesday
By now, you have heard about Giving Tuesday. If you are considering donating during this time, please consider MYRO. Most of our income throughout the year comes from membership dues and in-kind donations. No youth rugby means no income; we still have bills to pay and to invest in the future when we do return to play (RTP).
MYRO operates primarily on a volunteer basis and we had a paid staff up to the pandemic. In order for MYRO to be at the ready for the RTP, we need funds. Your donation of $5, $10, $15, $50, $500 or $5,000 will ensure that when we do RTP, we hit the pitch running. We are a charitable organization. You donation is tax deductible.

Volunteer

Volunteering for MYRO will connect you with others who want to help grow the sport of youth rugby. Young or old, volunteering helps you give back to the sport we all love...rugby. MYRO needs volunteers to spread the word of youth rugby through our Communications Committee. Do you have a background in fundraising or would like to sort out sponsorships? Ask about our Fundraising/Sponsorship Committee.

Participate
There are a number of ways to participate in our efforts to Grow the Game:
train to become a coach – you do not have to have played to work with an elementary school age Rookie Rugby team;
provide assistance with outreach and marketing efforts – accurate information about the game, its values, its physical benefits and the fun it provides is key;
provide administrative support - growing the game requires a solid organization;
donate: time, material and money can always be put to good use.
